If your model number is not listed you can also find your MacBook's model number in the Settings app by going to General then About. You can also find it by selecting About This Mac from the Apple menu. 

Steps to find your MacBook model number: 

  1. Select the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen
  2. Choose About This Mac
  3. The model name and serial number will appear in the window that opens
